Jacquardtronic Textronic

The difference between these laces and the Leavers one is the yarn binding technology : it's knitting.

The Raschel machine came in the late 50's; it was the competitor to Leavers lace. Then came up the Jacquard during the 80s and the Textronic in the 90s. The production of these laces is faster than the leavers and requires less manpower.

The Textronic is like the Jacquardtronic. The difference lays in the fact that this technology has an additional bar that moves behind the knitting elements in order to obtain soft twist effect like the Leavers. However, the number of bars is limited to 53.
